BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GYPSUM, KANSAS, that the monthly water rates will be as follows:
CITY RATES: The minimum charge per month for 5/8",3/4" residential water meters will be $10.00 for up to 1,000 gallons of water, 1" and larger meters $20.00 minimum for up to 1,000 gallons, trailer park, $20.00 minimum for up to 1,000 gallons. The charge for all meters will then be $3.25 per 1,000 gallons of water for 1,001 - 10,000 gallons. Then $4.00 per 1,000 gallons of water for all water used over 10,000.
RURAL RATES: The minimum charge per month will be $15.00 for up to 1,000 gallons of water. Then $3.25 per 1,000 gallons of water for 1,001 to 10,000 gallons. Then $4.00 per 1,000 gallons of water for all water used over 10,000.
ORDINANCE No. 1228
BE IT ORDIANED BY THE GOVERNNG BODY OF THE CITY OF GYPSUM, KANSAS ON May 10, 2004, that the monthly sewer rates will be as follows:
The monthly minimum charge is $9.70 per unit for up to 1,000 gallons of water metered. Then $1.20 per 1,000 gallons of water metered up to 15,000 gallons

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GYPSUM, KANSAS, monthly trash rates shall be as follows:
Rates Residential and churches monthly trash with one cart is $18.00 Business monthly trash rate with one cart is $28.00 Each additional residential cart is $9.00 Each additional business cart is $10.00 Rural residential monthly rate with one cart is $23.00 Each additional cart for rural residents is $9.00 Trailer Park Trash rate is $163.00
The city reserves the right to discontinue water service to any or all customers of the water district for failure to pay their monthly bill. Bills are due on the fifteenth of the month, and late notices will be sent the next business day for non-payment. If payment is still not received by the disconnection date indicated on the late notice, water service will be disconnected.
Once the water service has been disconnected due to non-payment, it will not be reconnected until the outstanding balance, including any accrued penalties and a $30 reconnection fee for the water meter, has been paid in full.
